yesterday, before i kicked the kids out, we set up this shot.
and i LOOOOOOVE this one! it is SO my kids.
i am realizing what people go through when they respond to their family photos. i am just so in love with these-seeing my kids like this, all together with us. it was so fun. thank you margie!!!!! i am in LOOOOVE. (did i already say that?) :)
a mom who let me come over to her house! i am feeling a bit stale at the beach, so this was very fun.

here are a few of my favorites:
i had several moments during this shoot where the good magic would happen. where as i pushed the shutter, i knew that i was getting magic from these people and these kids. i love when that happens.
this sweet little family drove all the way down from oxnard for their shoot. and hit major friday night traffic on the way so unfortunately they were almost an hour late. wasnt a big problem for me, except for the sun was quickly setting on us. i felt so bad because they had traveled such a distance to not get the normal amount of time with me, but i feel confident in what we got.
the kids were great. mom and dad were gorgeous, as you will soon see, and the light was beautiful.
this was my favorite.
