Well, after all that “I’M BAaaaaaAAAaaCK” talk yesterday, guess what went and happened?
My iMac started acting up. We have been fiddling with it for 24 hours – and we finally threw in the towel and are taking it in to get looked at tomorrow. It doesn’t want to do anything, and freezes up at the slightest task.

Not sure when I will have it back, but I will resume posting regularly as soon as I do.

I feel for you. My PC does the exact same thing way too often. Hope they sort it promptly for you :)
For my ownselfish reasons in addition to wishing you all things good, I hope it gets resolved soon;)
My MacBook did that to me about 3 months ago and it died. HOPEFULLY yours will have better recovery. Get well soon iMac!
oh I can’t begin to tell you how many tears I’ve shed with the same issue with my macbook. it included losing most of my photos, which thankfully my hubby was able to recover. it seems to be working fine now though–not sure what he did?!. I totally feel your pain.

Did you try pressing the home button and the top button simultaneously until it shuts of and comes back on with the white start up apple logo?
Must be something in the air. My i-book suffered an unfortunate and fatal run in with electricity and water. Fried to little bits. I have been waiting (not so) patiently for my new mac book.
oh Tara, that sounds so familiar. Mine is playing up too and wedding season is about to start! Id love to know what is wrong with yours!!! Dave rebooted it but it will still randomly freeze up even if I only have a few pics up and music playing! HOpe yours pans out ok. x Chels

Mine too! Mine is old enough to pass down the line to the fam and I have a new one on the way. Eek! Bad timing but oh well.
