WE ARE OUR FACES \ DEC ’15 & JAN ’16

“We are our faces. That’s all there is, light on faces.” Garry Winogrand

There is a little camera that I keep by my front door. I grab it randomly, and only when the mood strikes. Sometimes I forget about it for weeks. Sometimes I think of it everyday.

This is the film from my personal point and shoot, taken December 2015 and January 2016. Portra and Ektar. Scanned by Pro Photo Connection, Irvine.

  1. Oh, Tara. So much heart there. What a beautiful family. And how cool to see photos of Casper’s with lush green grass – it was so dry (but still lovely) when we were there in July.

  2. From someone who has followed you since your scrapbooking days, but has continued because of your beautiful photos and your honest writing, I loved seeing a glimpse of photo that I have seen so many times of your four little ones. How is it possible that they were once so little? It can’t be because we are so old!
