Alexis is a dear friend with benefits. Only the benefits are that she has been doing my hair for over ten years.
This is Alexis and her business partner David, in their new salon Butterfly Loft. I drove up last week to take some promotional photos for their website, and to check out the new space. It is amazing. I am not kidding. Jaw dropping. Coolest space EVER. I could have died. I could have moved in. The windows and the splash of color and the amazing artwork. A super cool place to take pictures and an even cooler place to get your hair done.

Tara, this woman…WOWZA! I went through the links you had of her and her family and I must say, she “progresses through the years” beautifully! (I just could not write “ages” as she seems so young). She is one gorgeous momma! Love her look! Oh, I must also say that her space is so striking. I could just sink in for a day of treatment and not come up for air! Thanks for sharing!!!!

well done tara, i recently turned down a job EXACTLY like this. literally – salon/spa, interior shots to feature the space. there were a lot of reasons, but one of them was that i didn’t know how to make it “me.” you were able to make it you with your beautiful use of light and unique perspective. brilliant.
