i am having complaints from IE7 users, specifically that they cant see the flash banner. if you are using the latest version of internet explorer, can you clear your history and empty your cache, refresh and let me know if you can see the banner or not? you can just comment here, yes or no. appreciate it!

we just tried something new, i wish i had IE7 so i could check myself. i appreciate the feedback and all the extra information im getting. Also, archives are now working again!

i just de-activated all of my plug-ins. if it works now its one of them that are causing it. let me know…

still no idea whats going on. jared, coder of the theme is now looking into it. this guy is amazing, seriously the best customer service ive ever experienced. so for now, if any of you that couldnt see it before have any changes just let me know. thanks.

ughh this is SO frustrating! jared has been looking into things and still doesnt know what is going on. mostly because his IE7 is showing everything just fine. he has very kindly offered to speak with one of my blog readers via email or phone in order to make tweaks and see if they affect anything. he would need you to be availabe by phone or email, waiting while he makes changes and able to tell him if anything has changed for you. if anyone is available for something like this email me at tara@tarawhitney.com and i will forward your info to jared. its a lot to ask so thank you in advance!

IE 7, Vista-I can see the banner. Did not have to clear cache.

IE 7 renders it but you have a javascript error on your page ‘J.parentNode’ is null or not an object.

I know you want IE7 and newer, but I have an interesting sidenote. I kept IE6 for just this reason, and I can see the banner fine, but about 50% of the time I try to open your blog, I “encounter” an error and have to close. Then if I try again it works.

I can’t see the banner, but I love that I can see the archives now. Dude, you have always ripped … I was secretly hoping to go back to 2005 and see that you had to go through a learning curve, but .. err, not so much!

I can see the banner at the top. I have IE7 and XP. I couldn’t see it last week. Under the banner there is a 4″ or so blank space before the text begins…
Nope, can’t see it with IE#7. But I can with Google Chrome!

Can see the words, no background or header. Didn’t have a problem until today. Using IE 8.
As you know, I could see it the other day, but now I can’t see it again. So strange!! Still works with Firefox on the same computer.
