i am having complaints from IE7 users, specifically that they cant see the flash banner. if you are using the latest version of internet explorer, can you clear your history and empty your cache, refresh and let me know if you can see the banner or not? you can just comment here, yes or no. appreciate it!

we just tried something new, i wish i had IE7 so i could check myself. i appreciate the feedback and all the extra information im getting. Also, archives are now working again!

i just de-activated all of my plug-ins. if it works now its one of them that are causing it. let me know…

still no idea whats going on. jared, coder of the theme is now looking into it. this guy is amazing, seriously the best customer service ive ever experienced. so for now, if any of you that couldnt see it before have any changes just let me know. thanks.

ughh this is SO frustrating! jared has been looking into things and still doesnt know what is going on. mostly because his IE7 is showing everything just fine. he has very kindly offered to speak with one of my blog readers via email or phone in order to make tweaks and see if they affect anything. he would need you to be availabe by phone or email, waiting while he makes changes and able to tell him if anything has changed for you. if anyone is available for something like this email me at tara@tarawhitney.com and i will forward your info to jared. its a lot to ask so thank you in advance!
I can’t see it! And IE is having problems opening your blog at all; it’s hit or miss whether it will open or I’ll get an error message.

OK, I tried it in all 3 browsers I have
Firefox brought it up lickety split, all parts of it, flash banner and all no errors.
Safari brought most of it up, did show the flash banner, said 1 error and appeared to not download 2 of the 28 items?
IE7 – never did show the flash banner (and I deleted and cleared everything and did an F5 forced refresh … it seems to be hung trying to complete the ‘1 item remaining’
I will email you the 2 snapshot images of the Safari and IE7 status bar..

Yep, I can see it clear as a bell. I am using the latest IE, version 7.0.5730.11. Hope that helps.

I’m not sure which version of IE I have but when I open your blog it ‘aborts the operation’ but if i refresh it seems fine. I can see the banner but yyesterday it wasnt updating in the sidebar of my blog :)

Nope, can’t see it and the page is very slow to load. Tells me at bottom of screen. Done, but with Errors on page. Darn it!
I have version 7.0.6001.18000 and I can see it just fine. No errors, seems to work great for me! Good luck.

I can see it… I did not have to delete cashe or history… it just works great in IE 7.0

on a mobile hand-held, like my iPod Touch… the new version is nice because it is loading your first flash-fader image instead of the missing flash connection box thingy! It all works great on Safari, and looks clean! I just updated to PS2, now I’m wondering if I need to check my stuff on the other browsers!

I can see it. But I did have to refresh the page for the banner to launch.
Hum… actually it is acting up again. it is pretty much a crap shoot I would say or a slot machine more like. I pretty much have to hit the refresh button as many times as I need until it works.

hey so it seems like after i press the “add a comment” link, then the banner will appear and work after that… but if i close and reopen IE, i can’t see it again, until i’ve tried to “add a comment” i’ve tried it a few times and it’s the same thing each time.

yes – but I also had to go into our security and enable mobile code for it to work. (an ongoing issue with Zone Alarm for us.)

A little house with a red heart inside is the only object I see on this page other than the text. And,if you have any sidebars, I’m not seeing that either.

Hi there, I’m glad to learn it’s not just me and my funky computer. No banner. I’ve cleared cached and refreshed/relaunched multiple times/days. After reading the other posts I poked around and it did show up on the “perfectly imperfect” page but that was it. I’m a PC with IE7. Hope that helps!
