so i guess i should post about the changes i made yesterday yes?
i have been wanting to move past the colorful clutter of the old look for months. in fact, i think that i wasnt fully in love with that look from the very beginning, but i cant be sure. i flip flop daily on things like that.
so when my theme was upgraded i decided to upgrade the look too.
i just want pure minimalist cleanness. and i know thats not really a word. but thats what i want. cleanness. no clutter. nothing. stripped down. words and pictures. its like a breath of fresh air for me.
i still have some more tweaks to make, but the bones of it are done.
my favorite bit so far is the “email me” link up top. click it and see what kind of goodness happens.
the other think i think is pretty cool is my twitter feed. up there where it says “what am i doing right now?”

Ok… hehe just making sure. i went on a text fest and talked to shane already hehe ;-) I like the minimalist look as well, i think it helps the photos stand out more.
OMG, I love it. The focus is ALL on the photos. You are genius. Love how in the email thing you talk about how you need to focus on your clients and your family. AMEN sista!!!!

one thing I do miss though, is a home or main button to bring you back to the beginning is you click on any of your categories or links… :)
I love the new look. Congrats. Two comments: 1. Your photos at the top of the page only work for me when I click through to certain posts. Otherwise, it’s just a big blank block of white. 2. I agree with dana f (above) – it would be helpful if you had a home or main button to get back to the start after you click on a category or link. Oh wow, since I’m following your entries via bloglines I don’t really notice when changes are made, but now that I see it, I really, really like it! As you said…cleanness…nothing less and nothing more.. I think it makes your pictures pop out even more (if that’s possible *lol+).

I like the clean look too but also loved the colorful version. I think it added to what your photo were like, FUN, COLORFUL, and full of spirit. It’s always good to change things up too, keeps people on their toes :-)

i just upgraded to the same blog….love it and all the choices in design at your fingertips. i’m in the ‘there’s never enough buttons and ‘things’ to add phase’… right now…but i always love clean lines…the pureness of it. so, as much as i loved your last colourful blog, i love this one just as much simply because of the amazing work that is shared on it for all of us;)
