hey everyone! hope you found your way over here okay. please update your bookmarks. this is the new home of my blog! i have been working for hours and hours to get this thing up and running. with the help of theresa stanton, my brother, and several nerdy wordpress friends, we coded it to life.

at the same time, i worked on updating my website with new photos, new information, updated branding, AND “pop up video-ish” notes on any photo that i felt had a story behind it. let me know what you think of that-it was a crazy idea i had at 1:30am a few nights ago.

so-to help you get used to things over here, i have a list of new and old to get you started.

old: check it is down at the bottom, but its still here! i will continue to update it regularly. all of the archives from my old blog were transferred over here. links up top are the same i had on typepad. ME.

new: big photos, pretty stuff, and more pretty stuff. when i respond to a comment it is now highlighted in turquoise. a search feature, also on the bottom of the page. that sweet flash header! i was so proud i made that all by myself…and an email me link.

let me know if there is anything funky that you notice going on here, and what you think about all the changes. i have to go rest this weary old body of mine.

OH it also happens to be someone’s birthday today. go over and shower her with birthday love! (its her last birthday before the big three oh!)

I cannot wait to get a date for our summer trip to LA, so we can confirm shoot (will be August). Wouldn’t dream of missing an opportunity to have you take our pictures again.   35. LOVE the new blog! I look forward to bigger images! When I went over to your website to check out the new features the galleries were not working for me. There is a black semi-circle in the upper left hand corner, but no images. Not sure if it’s just me.

  40. Very cool new blog!! Teensy suggestion: have loved your little house/heart logo from day one—love where it is up on top, off to the right of your photos on display, like an artist’s signature. Is it possible to have it link to your photography website? For some reason I expected it to.. Anyway, otherwise, it’s fun to see all the changes you’ve made—very unique!

    and 1:30am crazy ideas are often the best ones. LOVE the notes.. it has really given the ‘viewer’ another opportunity to connect with you.. to learn more and to see more than ANOTHER gallery from another photographer… brilliant as always. awesome work Tara…. fabulous and evolving into only moreso.. congratulations.
