his little world

meet little cooper and his mom and dad.

i figured the shoot was going to be a great one because tia (mom) told me she was a model for many years, and cooper is signed with ford. she also said they had recently remodelled their home. so i was excited to get my camera over there. tia had a lot of ideas that she wanted to pull off…and i loved having those ideas to work with, along with my own. just made the shoot even more personal for them.

i have lots of faves from this one…so go grab a coke or something. :)

  1. Tara…I must say this is my favorite shoot you’ve done recently. Lots of new looks, which is always good. LOVE the one in the bath and the baby walking through the door…that shadow! You California people must have just great windows in your houses and exposure because all your inside shots are so well lit. I have NO good light in this house really. Great job. What a wonderful Christmas present for them.

  2. OMG! I think this is my absolute favorite shoot of yours ever! Every photo is absolutely beautiful. My favorites are the sink & bubbles, the costume, and the one in his room…the wall color, the little planets, and the table look so cute. TFS!

  3. oh the lil dragon. the wall even looks like a castle :) fabulous work. The bubble one is toooo die for. I would need that HUGE in my bathroom! super cute.
Always pleased to find a new post from you. makes me day a little inspired.. and more pleasant. thank you for sharing yourself and your work.

  4. Wow! These are so, so good. I love the one in his room with the whole ‘universe’ above him. Just beautiful. And the bubbles and the window and the costume and… just can’t say enough about *ALL* of them. They must be thrilled with these….

  5. My goodness woman, how long were you there? I am amazed that not only did you get indoor and outdoor shots, but it was Halloween, playtime, and bathtime practically all at once. Love the eyes on the little dude. Yet I’m mostly jealous of his bare feet, as it’s snowing where I am. Keep on keepin’ on. You rocked this shoot.

  6. Simply breathtaking! I have never commented on here before but WOW I just had to this time. Makes me want to run and get my camera and start shooting away. So inspiring!

  7. Tara, your photography is amazing, I wish you were here in Australia so you could capture my family. Thankyou for sharing your beautiful, amazing and inspiring work!
