For everyone who asked about how I put this together, it was a very simple process of going through a year of photos and copying favorites into a new folder. Then, I went through them again and whittled down to just about 150 (I think?). Then I resized them, and dragged them all into iMovie. Spent about thirty minutes getting the timing right and finding a song. Exported to Vimeo. That was that. Took me about two hours to complete.)

That is FANTASTIC Tara… what an awesome snapshot of your year… I just love it!! Hmmm… I don’t have iMovie so I wonder what I can use??… off to brainstorm and imitate! Lol!
Every year of my children’s lives I have done this. Last year I had a horrific crash on my computer and lost one of the best slideshows ever right before I had a chance to save it and burn to DVD. It broke me and I never redid it or did another. Thank you because now I am reminded that I must do this for us. Its priceless. THank you for sharing your year with us. You just plain ROCK.

I’m new to mac and imovie 09. I’ve made a few photo dvds, but I can’t get the changing of the photos to sync with the music. I noticed that yours do; can you PRETTY PLEASE tell me how to do that? Thanks so much!
