back home

being in minnesota was in one word – great.

being with cathy in her home, with dan and the kids, just hanging, was comfortable and fun as hell. we didnt do anything. and that was just fine by me. cathy was her usual entertaining self. i love being around her. she had me at hello. dan is a super cool guy, a person you can talk to and be with really easily. cole is the most interesting kid i have ever met. aidan is growing into this sweet young woman, entirely too beautiful for a nine year old, with a personality that cathy should be really proud of. she followed me like a puppy dog and i loved it.

margie came over and we did this: Studio Z interview

we did several mini shoots over the two days i was there. i dont think ill be able to share the shots of cathy for her book, but i will share some i took of her with her kids.

i also made sure that i could do a photo shoot with margies family, outside in the snow in bright stripes and colors. i cant wait to play with those and post them. it was great to see all of the little schershligts personalities and hang out with them. great great kids. great family. i felt right at home with their brood. :)

just checking in, getting back to reality over here. missing minnesota and my friends. but happy with what i have where i am at the same time. i loved MN. loved the stark and cold landscape. loved it.
