we met our sweet neighbors kristine and jose on halloween 06 (after living here for almost two years). my excuse for being such an anti-social freaky hermit is that they arent immediate neighbors and they both work outside of the home. we would wave as we passed in the mornings but didnt get the guts to say hi until they had a loft put into their house. the same model as ours. so as our kids said trick or treat i introduced us and asked if they might show us how the loft turned out. kristine and jose (with little david) were so nice and ushered us right upstairs. we talked for a bit and it turned out that kristine hunted me down online and booked a session for november! the first person in my neighborhood i think to really know what i do aside from leave seventeen times a day to take and pick up kids. :)

the session gave us time to get to know each other a lot better (and for me to find out how my kids go and trick or treat at their house often and not on halloween and beg david to come out and play) and their sweet little boy just warmed my heart and soul.
