THE Marina Miller was in town a few months ago from her home in Hawaii. I had the pleasure, (NAY the privilege!), of meeting her entire family and taking them to a new spot I found while garage sale-ing. She is one of my favorite friends to follow online, and it was so good to spend time with her and her boys.

Ohh wow! I follow her too and I love to see what you and her both post on a daily basis! Such good shooters!
love it. love following marina and love “watching” as all these connections happen!
I love those shots! especially the singleton shots of Marina and the boys. and the soda bottles and bottle caps. awesome!
these are wonderful Tara. I love Marina.. she is such a huge talent in her own right..
as beautiful as always! your angles, light, everything.
the light streaming through the trees made my breath catch. seriously amazing!
I wish that b&w of the three boys was MY three boys, it’s exceptionally gorgeous.
This is BY FAR my favorite session of yours EVER. Well, except for two. ;) The colors in here are gorgeous, the family is adorable. Love the Happy.
I’ve been a follower of yours for a while, but usually I just lurk(sounds a bit creepy). Today, I had to comment. Although all your photographs are gorgeous, there is just something about these that is, well, amazing. Love them all!
you are kinda awesome in every way. thank you for capturing my crazy little family. hope to see you again soon! xoxo
I am so TOTALLY UTTERLY BLOWN away. The sun rays, the freckles…her mole…..ahhhhhhhhhhh…and my oh my the genetic evidence of her amazing eyes in each and every boy is so superfab.
I’m a huge b&w fan. And your pic of the 3 in b&w is amazing.
I love the sodas!
wow. just wow. i LOVE the 4 pics together of each of the boys. and marina is just gorgeous. the one of her in color…bathed in sun. swoon.
tara, i love looking at all of your beautiful work. You have such a true talent of finding and showing true beauty. Thank you for sharing you work with us.
brilliant! love the location, love the bottle bottom one…. great and inspiring as usual!
YOU are amazing. SHE is amazing. Thank you for sharing these – I miss looking at her work – tell her the world needs her!! (and we’re so glad we have you Tara!!)
they look so “homey”, casual, relaxed… like i just would love to hang with them! great session tara!
adoRable family!
I always get so excited when I found new entries on your blog! LOVE all the images you made and again, I am amazed how you can bring out the natural and genuine side of each family your captured!!
love the new local. i’m not familiar with marina (other then the 2 min. i just spent on her site) but i love the image you took of her where i can see her soul…you know the one…color…with the flower and the sun flair. excellent job.
Thank you for introducing another amazing woman to inspire me! as usual, your images show the reality of who people are :-) I love when the families do not get dressed up for a photo shoot. My son has a superman shirt for every day of the week, that is what I want to remember and see.
Awesome!! These are some of my faves of late- I LOVE love love adore that copse of trees….amazing place for a family photo!!! And do they have FOUR boys????? Sheesh!! That’s some work fo’ SHo!
Wow, the boys are getting so big!!
Here’s what I got from the images: This is a family that enjoys one another and are comfortable in their skin because they know who they are. The kids might not realize it yet, but their parents have created a wonderful environment of freedom for those kids to grow! Beautiful work.
What a beautiful family! Such lovely pictures.
sweet, gorgeous looking family! i love their natural style too. and, you have a creek near you?!! LOVE!
You work magic. For some reason this shot just got me. The three older boys (like ours) and then the baby (which we will have soon). The setting is exactly where I would want my family photos to take place. Everything about it… Magic!!!

Very cool. I also love that they just wore “everyday clothes.” It looks great on them and so their style. Awesome pictures!
what a beautiful family… so blessed
