giveaway (503 photography – workshops for children)

WINNER IS: Caron, who wrote, “I’m so pumped that you posted this! I have a highschooler that is PASSIONATE about photography….the art is simply in her blood. This workshop would be absolutely perfect for her. Thank you for posting this as well as an opportunity for a spot. Thanks.”

  1. Wow! With this contest my blog stalking could actually benefit me. I’m a high schooler that always has her camera attached to her face & I would love to learn more :)

  2. Oh Tara – how I would love to win this workshop! If I don’t win, I need to seriously figure out how I can take the class. This is what I love to shoot – children! Mine, nieces/nephews and their friends. (Actually the other day I took a photo of a random little boy holding his stuffed animal horse at a horse show, I ended up deleting it because I felt guilty it wasn’t of someone I knew.) Thanks for the chance to win.

  3. edited to say . . . . I guess I didn’t read the initial posting well! I would let my 16 year old take the class, but I would probably learn stuff right along with her.

  4. My 16 yr old has my (old) Canon 30D. I thought the best way 2 understand her life was allowing her to photograph it. Yesterday she said 6 magic words. “We took pictures in the Park!!” I can’t wait to see them….she hasn’t shared yet…

  5. I would SO LOVE to do this with my son. His dad gets to coach him in all his sports and I’m jealous of all that shared activity. This would be something that he and I could do together. What a fantastic idea!

  6. My 11 yr old would love this! She’s our middle child and struggling to find her thing that’s her special thing. She has a unique way of seeing things and this would so help foster that artist in her.

  7. My son has a good eye for photography, but I seem to always hog the camera! I would love to give him a chance to explore his own talents through this workshop. He is graduating from high school this year and we won’t be able to do many special things for him due to the economy. This class could be a real treat for him. He could be behind the camera, instead of in front!

  8. What an awesome idea! I have a niece who would love this and them maybe I’d learn a thing or two from her…LOL! Love this giveaway…thanks!

  9. This is great. I have a 10 year old and fifteen year old. If we won we would have to have a contest at our house to see who would win it. Thank you so much.

  10. My 7 year old daughter would love this! What an awesome experience for a little one. Such a great idea. You always see photography workshops for adults, never children. Would love for my daughter to have this opportunity.

  11. My daughter, Brooke, is 10 years old and LOVES photography. She is going to Europe this summer for 3 weeks and has been reading my how to book for my Nikon camera and practicing everyday. She would love to win this class!
