WINNER IS: Caron, who wrote, “I’m so pumped that you posted this! I have a highschooler that is PASSIONATE about photography….the art is simply in her blood. This workshop would be absolutely perfect for her. Thank you for posting this as well as an opportunity for a spot. Thanks.”
And, for all of you still wanting to join the fun this summer, Jessica wants to offer my readers a discount. Use code TARA503 to get $25 off the workshop costs for 7-10 year olds and $40 off the cost of the workshops for the middle and high schoolers.
This weekend I am giving away 1 free spot into Jessica Cudzilo’s brand new, photography workshops for kids & teens.
To read the heart behind these workshops click here and read this note Jessica has written specifically to parents.
These workshops are for 7-10 year olds, middle schoolers and high schoolers, with each age group having their own set of lessons and online forum to connect with other kids their age. For loads of information about all of these workshops check out the site for all the info.
Note from Jessica:
These workshops are brand new and only offered during the summer so any and all spreading the word you all can do is greatly appreciated. I believe SO much in the value of art, the value of children and the value of family and hope you’ll join us for an incredible summer of learned photography!

I have a 7 year old that would be SO into this. What a cool idea.
As my two girls get older, they enjoy taking photos more and more. They’d love to take some classes and learn techniques! :)
Wow! With this contest my blog stalking could actually benefit me. I’m a high schooler that always has her camera attached to her face & I would love to learn more :)
This would be perfect for my 15 year old daughter who is really wanting to improve on her skills

WOW! What a gift Tara! Huge!
If these are held online, and not in CA (I can’t access the website to see) I know a teenager who would be THRILLED at this opportunity!!!
My 14yr old would love this! She is really getting the photo bug :)
Oh Tara – how I would love to win this workshop! If I don’t win, I need to seriously figure out how I can take the class. This is what I love to shoot – children! Mine, nieces/nephews and their friends. (Actually the other day I took a photo of a random little boy holding his stuffed animal horse at a horse show, I ended up deleting it because I felt guilty it wasn’t of someone I knew.) Thanks for the chance to win.
edited to say . . . . I guess I didn’t read the initial posting well! I would let my 16 year old take the class, but I would probably learn stuff right along with her.
Sounds like something my 14 year old would just LOVE!

My 16 yr old has my (old) Canon 30D. I thought the best way 2 understand her life was allowing her to photograph it. Yesterday she said 6 magic words. “We took pictures in the Park!!” I can’t wait to see them….she hasn’t shared yet…
What a great idea! Such clever people on the internet. :)
My 7 and 8 year old daugthers would LOVE this!!

I would LOVE for my daughter to be able to do something like this! Didn’t even know they had anything like this. SO cool!
My 11 yr old would love this! She’s our middle child and struggling to find her thing that’s her special thing. She has a unique way of seeing things and this would so help foster that artist in her.
so great! would love this for my molly!
Cool contest!
Entering this definitely sounds like a good idea! ;)
My son has a good eye for photography, but I seem to always hog the camera! I would love to give him a chance to explore his own talents through this workshop. He is graduating from high school this year and we won’t be able to do many special things for him due to the economy. This class could be a real treat for him. He could be behind the camera, instead of in front!
This is such a great opportunity for a budding photographer! I have one in mind. Wish it were me 20 yrs ago!
What an awesome idea! I have a niece who would love this and them maybe I’d learn a thing or two from her…LOL! Love this giveaway…thanks!
This is great. I have a 10 year old and fifteen year old. If we won we would have to have a contest at our house to see who would win it. Thank you so much.
My daughter would be over the moon for this! She wants to be a professional pet photographer!

My 7 year old daughter would love this! What an awesome experience for a little one. Such a great idea. You always see photography workshops for adults, never children. Would love for my daughter to have this opportunity.
