these are the places my eyes like to land

I have been asked many times to show more photos of the inside of my house. The problem is, I am not all that happy with the current state of affairs in here at the moment. There are photos and art to hang, rooms to organize, walls to patch and paint, curtains to put up, extra furniture sitting around I need to put on Craigslist….and the list goes on.

But there are a few spots around here that I do love.

And since Olivia came today and everything was neat and tidy, and since I just picked up a bunch of ranunculus at the store, I walked around with my iPhone this afternoon and shot the places around here that my eyes like to land.

XO

Tara

  1. Oh my gosh missy, I so lurve your style. Your home looks so happy and lived in and comfortable and cozy. The warm, loving atmosphere just shines out in these photos Perfect….just perfect xx

  2. Your phone took some pretty wonderful photos here! I just love everything…the chairs around your table, the light hanging above it, the scales, and the knobs you have all your aprons hanging from :) Very calming to me!

  3. I am in *LOVE* with your kitchen cabinets. I am not normally the type to drool over such things, but I remember the first time I saw them (I think it was one of your holiday posts), I did worry that perhaps I was drooling all over my desk. ;) Are they actual chalkboard material? chalkboard paint? Was it a DIY task or did you go with my preferred route and have someone else do it? :)

  4. Hi Tara,
I having been “spying” on your site since I shut down my facebook page. I thought of you today when I was over at Trader Joes and saw the display of fresh ranunculus. Oh, and I secretly hope that I just happen upon your craigslist listings…ha ha! I know! I am a big dork! Just wanted to say hi to you and Jeff. You cross my mind often (many times when I see your beautiful mom). Take care,
    Le Anne!

  5. So lovely. Love the ranunculus…just took my little ones to the flower fields in Carlsbad yesterday and saw the beautiful acres and acres of ranunculus. (With the ocean in the background on a beautiful day, it was hard to ask for anything more from a Friday morning!)
