It had just rained and the light was soft and pink and magical. Tyler and Hannah have been married for ten years and wanted this shoot “just because”. They brought things from home that were important to them, (like comic books, guitar, art, quilt) and I loved it. Tyler worked on Avatar, he is a CGI guy, which is a fun little tidbit. Hannah is a social worker. They are close, funny, and talented. We had a nice time together.

PS: I love Hannah’s lips.
PSS: I get to be the guest judge at I HEART FACES this week! So fun, can’t wait to see what you all come up with. The theme is: dramatic b&w.
Beautiful!.. love them all
i love that they brought their own books! that’s a very cool idea.
Awwwhhh Very nice..love it!!
What an adorable couple! Great shoot Tara!
Hmmm…for me your image is not loading on “i heart faces”. Just an FYI (maybe it’s just me!)
She has the most intense green eyes. Lovely work, as always.
How did I miss this on FB yesterday? Because who wouldn’t want to see this??? They are lovely and how darling that they brought their favorite books with them! I love that!
Miss Hannah is very lovely. She looks “real,” not ovely make-uped and lipsticked (not sayin’ there’s anything wrong with that!) but very real and beautiful and comfortable with herself. I think it’s perfect.
Thanks for sharing!
Great shoot, T. Love. Love.
Beautiful as always!
Beautiful sky! Wow! Lovely work as always ;)
these are gorgeous! I love every session you do! :)
LOVE THEM!!! I thought when I first looked at this post it was an engagement shoot. Together 10 years and they still look crazy in love; that’s awesome…
Ok, her wedding rings (specifically that engagement ring) really caught my eye! I have the same tension-set solitare and have never seen another person with one! I’d recognize it anywhere! I love the genuine-ness of everything you capture, Tara. <3
I love when you post… i get so inspired and want to visit friends in Orange County just to meet you.
the one where she’s kissing his nose is adorable. definitely my favorite.
Another fantastic session! She is such a natural beauty! I love the images with their books and the guitar!
Those are beautiful. I’m so jealous, my hubby and I don’t act like that anymore.
love, love, love. i, like several others, figured that this was an engagement session until you said they’d been married 10 years. way to keep the love alive, hannah & tyler – what a GIFT!
I love them! the ones with books are so much fun!
Does look like some great light and some great photography!

So loved that you mentioned her lips as I was thinking the very same thing! These are all beautiful.
I love that first shot with the books. Wonderful idea. This entire shoot has such a great vibe to it. Wonderful job; adorable couple.
PS – Love Hannah’s books. That Kingsolver book is one of my favorites from her. And the Fabelhaven series is one my boys and I are reading together right now. Great series!
