Hey,
Congrats! Checked it out. Looks fab as usualy. I left Jay a message. I hope he picks us!
CONGRATS on the cover tara! that IS exciting.
your images are soooo crisp and colorful! You really have a talent for capturing the basic moment of life itself. Awesome.
One question tho… I also shoot with the 24-70 most all of the time, however I recently rented the 50 mm 1.2 and loved its sharpness. Are you doing further sharpening post production?
tracee, thanks! and you are meant to sharpen before you post on the web. resizing the image means it loses a lot of quality.
Tara…Thanks for the tip on Jay. I hadn’t been to his blog in a while and I was happy I checked it out. It happened so fast, less than 48 hours from email to shoot. It was good to get some new shots of us though. We hadn’t done anything since yours 2.5 years ago. Too long. Thanks again for keeping us up to speed on the haps:) Have a great turkey day!!
Tara, I am so glad that I saw your post from this date because my friend and I are flying out to Portland, Oregon this friday for a mentoring session with Shannon. She has such a cool site picked out for us too. My 9 year old daughter will be going along, and will be in the shoot.
Love your work and thanks again for posting about Shannon!
