  1. You stinker! Early today I was in a Monday morning blue drizzly Seattle funk (you would have loved today) and you posted your pity party. And I certainly didn’t feel like blogging…had to go to work…blah blah blah…so Eric took off for the Mariner game alone…and Christian brought home a most delicious smelling hamburger…Taylor wanted chicken strips…and I was having my own pity party Lean Cuisine. McKenna’s bubbles coming out of her nose SO made me laugh out loud. Thank you. And thank Jay.

  2. T, Pure happiness. These are just amazing. Love the shot of Jeff with Anna so much. And the way he captured all that love wrapped around you…the best. So lucky are you!

  3. Tara…these are so fabulous…and perfectly suit your carefree, life as it happens style. I can see why you are thrilled. Good for you for actually taking the time to line someone up and get this done, too! We sometimes get too bogged down by working for others and don’t take the time to get our own families photographed! BTW…I am looking for someone in the central coast area (Monterey peninsula) to photograph MY family in late December! Any suggestions??!!

  4. in-credible. Amazing. Tear-rending. and I hafta say: I LOVE the one of Anna spitting through the gap in her teeth. I looked just like her when I was little, and I could do that too. Then my dentist wanted to remove the gap. Probably better, but I do miss being able to spit about 50 yards!
you are a lucky mama, but you already know that.

  5. Hey there!! OK, so YOU LOOK AMAZING in that shot! You have lost weight and grown your hair out. You look young and fun (not that you aren’t normally, the pic just showcases that!!!). Love the kids shots too, Jay is amazing! I have admired him for a while…lucky fam!!
    Much love

  6. WOW Tara, those are priceless shots of you and your family ! I especially love the underwater ones. Thanks for the link to Jay’s summer photo contest too. I submitted an entry; first time I’ve ever entered a photo contest, but my all-time fave photo seems to fit this summer theme perfectly ! (My photo is # 86 on page 7 of Jay’s photo contest). Best wishes from a long-time blog reader and big fan of your work with Simple Scrapbooks. Greetings from Vancouver BC !

  7. Do you and Jay have movie stars calling you everyday to photograph them on purpose?

Man! Awesome pics! You look beautiful, “Movie Star Mom”!

Glad he brought you out of a temp funk. He’s pretty fine! :)

  8. HOLY COW!!!! THOSE ARE AMAZING!! He is AMAZING!! You must feel so lucky to have those!!
Love the one of anna underwater with her hair all around her. This is the first time I noticed that she has such dark brown eyes and the boys’ are blue (couldn’t tell what Kenna’s are?)
    WOW!! You all look wonderful!!

  9. NO WAY! I *just* posted on Jay’s blog (your pics). I told him that you two were two of my absolute favorite photographers :)
