  1. So have they not got to the point where they smell like dirt all the time? The smell factor is so huge to me, that it makes me sad when my growing boy is hard to snuggle up with because of my extreme sense of smell. If you have a secret, let me in on it. :)

  2. great shots- love the comment about sending them aways for seriously busted boys…my oldest needs that right now, it is so depressing. Anyway, I have a question for you and I am not sure of your email anymore…I am looking for a print you posted along time ago…would like to ask you about it when you get a chance…pretty please??

  3. I know what you mean. Have you ever read the book “I love you forever”? My expression when my son was younger was, “I think we should sell him to the zoo!” My son is 20 now and a totally amazing young man. These are good times….even the times you want to sell them to the zoo!

  4. Hey…you know my house IS the home for seriously busted boys. (Poor Keenan, sad but true.) Send ’em my way–anyday!! I am dying to know what those angelic souls could possibly do wrong. :)

  5. love that these pics appear to capture both sides of their personalities.

i feel like you do with my little hoodlums, er, sons, on a regular basis…and, on the other hand, they’re craziness makes them so cool and who they are.

thank god i have them, though. don’t know what i’d do with a little girl.

  6. I may have to go to the home for totally busted girls, LOL, I was making a little sneak peak while I am at work and your humor made me snort out loud. Thank you!

  7. I always love how you dress your dudes. I have two of them myself and I laughed out loud at your home for busted boys comment. Totally true in my home as well.

  8. I love your photos!! I wish I could afford to have you take my crowd…do you teach any classes or do you offer any FAQs on some of your tricks/tips (not all the secrets) but basics for those camera challenged folks? Would love to see those!!

  9. Personally, I think my 2 sons would have a great time with your 2 sons at a home for seriously busted boys! However, I couldn’t bear more than a day or two away from them! And yes, my older boy really stinks, but fortunately he likes to shower. That boy can take way more time than I can in the bathroom. When I tell him its time to get out he shouts, “Okay mom, I just have to wash my body and hair real quick!” Umm, what has he been doing for the past half hour anyway!?

  10. Sharla’s comment made me laugh so hard…this post is awesome Tara! The boys are getting so big. I can’t even imagine double the trouble, that means double stinkiness too ;)

    double sweetness.

wait till you gotta remind them to put DEODERANT on so they don’t smell like onions!!

  11. Hello,
I was curious if I could have your permission to add a link to your site on my personal blog. I have a section of blogs and sites that I like to visit for inspiration and enjoyment, and would like to share this with my friends.
    Thanks,
    Amber

  12. Great photos! Your boys are so handsome. As the mom of three boys myself (and one girl), I know exactly what you mean about “those” days. I can be mad as heck at them, but, as soon as I see them tucked in bed asleep, all is forgiven. Love the Hawaii pics, too. The black and white under the tree is gorgeous.

  13. so pretty much here’s the deal:
