man…they are looking so grown up!
beautiful too, love all those freckles.
So have they not got to the point where they smell like dirt all the time? The smell factor is so huge to me, that it makes me sad when my growing boy is hard to snuggle up with because of my extreme sense of smell. If you have a secret, let me in on it. :)
lol…oddly enough i feel the same way about my hubby and my son…! :-)
shar-they TOTALLY smell like dirt all the time. not to mention their feet. OMG.
great shots- love the comment about sending them aways for seriously busted boys…my oldest needs that right now, it is so depressing. Anyway, I have a question for you and I am not sure of your email anymore…I am looking for a print you posted along time ago…would like to ask you about it when you get a chance…pretty please??
HOLY LAST SHOT of your son…..
totally busted boys.
Totally CUTE boys!
I know what you mean. Have you ever read the book “I love you forever”? My expression when my son was younger was, “I think we should sell him to the zoo!” My son is 20 now and a totally amazing young man. These are good times….even the times you want to sell them to the zoo!
i love what sharla said. so true at my house too. stinky, stinky boy. hahaha! these are such cute pictures.
Your humor cracks me up! Thanks for the laugh!
Hey…you know my house IS the home for seriously busted boys. (Poor Keenan, sad but true.) Send ’em my way–anyday!! I am dying to know what those angelic souls could possibly do wrong. :)
loving your own family photos tara!
they may be stinky, but oh man are they ever cute/! and i can’t even say which one is cuter, they are equally cute, just have different looks! they are definately totally COOL too!
tara
love that these pics appear to capture both sides of their personalities.
i feel like you do with my little hoodlums, er, sons, on a regular basis…and, on the other hand, they’re craziness makes them so cool and who they are.
thank god i have them, though. don’t know what i’d do with a little girl.

I may have to go to the home for totally busted girls, LOL, I was making a little sneak peak while I am at work and your humor made me snort out loud. Thank you!
I always love how you dress your dudes. I have two of them myself and I laughed out loud at your home for busted boys comment. Totally true in my home as well.
So yummy! The “two YOUTS” are so stinkin’ handsome!
‘totally busted boys’ is a great band name
tee hee.
I always tell my kids I want to eat them, so funny;) And I can relate to wanting to send the boys (that would be my son & my husband) away!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your photos & blog!!
They’re going to be such heartbreakers! Very handsome boys.
I love your photos!! I wish I could afford to have you take my crowd…do you teach any classes or do you offer any FAQs on some of your tricks/tips (not all the secrets) but basics for those camera challenged folks? Would love to see those!!
Love these.
you’ve been tagged!! Check my blog for details…you’re so awesome!! I love your photography! http://www.ellesto.typepad.com
Such California Boys!!!
Like Totally.
Uh oh! I won’t ask!! Love those freckles though! I bet that get’s them out of trouble at times— just look at them!
Personally, I think my 2 sons would have a great time with your 2 sons at a home for seriously busted boys! However, I couldn’t bear more than a day or two away from them! And yes, my older boy really stinks, but fortunately he likes to shower. That boy can take way more time than I can in the bathroom. When I tell him its time to get out he shouts, “Okay mom, I just have to wash my body and hair real quick!” Umm, what has he been doing for the past half hour anyway!?
Look how stinkin cute they are..
Love love love seeing more shots of your family lately!
Sharla’s comment made me laugh so hard…this post is awesome Tara! The boys are getting so big. I can’t even imagine double the trouble, that means double stinkiness too ;)
double sweetness.
wait till you gotta remind them to put DEODERANT on so they don’t smell like onions!!
Do you have your stick ready? To beat away the girls?
Great shots of your monkeys … and yeah, I can relate to loving them one moment and wanting to strangle them the next! LOL
I love these! Surfer dudes!
Glad I’m not the only one. Awesome shots as usual!!
Dude..I get it..I seriously get it! haha! At least they are cute. ;)
LOL…No we won’t talk about those times…But yes I just want to eat them too…And is it just me or does Drew look like he is getting older by the second…He is becoming a young man!
Hello,
I was curious if I could have your permission to add a link to your site on my personal blog. I have a section of blogs and sites that I like to visit for inspiration and enjoyment, and would like to share this with my friends.
Thanks,
Amber
Yes, definitely a california family. Fantastic series. :)
Great photos! Your boys are so handsome. As the mom of three boys myself (and one girl), I know exactly what you mean about “those” days. I can be mad as heck at them, but, as soon as I see them tucked in bed asleep, all is forgiven. Love the Hawaii pics, too. The black and white under the tree is gorgeous.
So, it’s begun huh? First its the smelliness and then it’s getting totally busted. YUP! You should look at one of my old posts http://karennkool.blogspot.com/2006/10/warning-pay-attention-warning.html. It’s just for laughs and those times have changed. Hey, they don’t smell anymore! They shower. haha
Gorgeous boys you have!
