  1. hey…saw this on the academy awards…but, the video is so real…as are they. will have to watch the movie now. one of the things i noticed first when they were performing was his guitar…lovingly worn…aged…hole-y…both definitions apply here! thanks for sharing…it’s been a while since visiting here…always a such a sweet pleasure.

  2. It is pretty exciting! I still get goose bumps thinking about it. I always recommend checking out The Frames since Glen Hansard is the lead singer. And for a little dirt they actually were a bit of an item for a bit not sure if they still are but that was the rumor around the block. :-)

  3. Oh my goodness! I have just discovered this movie and soundtrack a few weeks ago, right before the Oscars. Had to run out and buy them both after I rented the movie! So amazingly simplistic and life-like. LOVE it!

  4. uughh! The video won’t play and I have NO idea what this is all about but I am dying to know. Love the song, now I want to know the name of it and the story behind it. And what is the name of the movie? Please fill me in!

  5. Tara,
i saw that movie about 2 months ago and just loved it, it’s so simple , so moving, sad, but uplifting in some ways.this was a low cost movie, the singers in the movies are real singers.
love to you and your family.
