last week.
wednesday night.
i asked anna what she would like to do thursday morning, just us.
(i have been so busy lately and working so much during the day i thought it would be a nice break out of the house for both of us.)
she said….”ummmmmmmmmmm.”
“get our nails painted!”
“get mcdonalds for lunch!”
“GO TO THE PARK!”
“and get ………. ice cream?”
way to milk it girl!
i brought the camera out while we were at the park. i havent just had fun taking photos of my kids for a really long time. just doing what i used to do-follow them around doing their thing. clicking away and getting their essence captured.
she was on the swing. i was pushing her and we were singing. and i almost cried at how beautiful she was. her hair flailing about, her huge gap toothed grin, her giggle, her hands, her voice, her eyes….

oh my goodness! i love these so much tara. i love swing pics and i have wanted to capture exactly like you just did with my own kids, but i haven’t had much luck. she is so darling! and that is totally something my kids would do “totally milk it”. her toes are beautiful. my kids always have daddy-daughter day (or daddy-dude day) and brenna just asked me “mommy, when can we have mommy-daughter day?” i do so much with my kids that i didn’t think we needed to make it official, but i think we do. she said she would want to go shopping at limited too and claires. LOL

Your day sounds wonderful and the pictures are beautiful! I especially love the 5th one with her hair in her face. Love pictures of little girls with messy hair! My daughter and I (she’s 10)are having a girls night out Friday. We are going to paint pottery and spend her Limited Too gift cards that she’s had forever(finally).
