in new york, i had two families of six that i saw the same day, in the same neighborhood. of course i relate and click with these families easily-i feel like i am in the midst of my own five counterparts! the six unit family dynamic is very similar wherever you go. and its always fun for me to see how parents relate and react to their brood of four-its like looking in a mirror. it also gives me just that much more to go off of-the more people around, the more honest reactions for me to record.
mom and dad were so amazing with these kiddos. they were dragging four kids around downtown manhattan for two hours on a busy saturday. and they kept a smile on their faces the whole time. i was impressed, and left feeling like i had new friends in all six of them.
BRILLIANT, you continue to amaze me but i’m sure you are tired of hearing that one! great session in NY – you are so lucky to be travelin’ now. don’t forget to get some rest. happy weekend, rach
I love how the mom put all the boys in different striped shirts, breaking so many photography “laws”…it looks awesome!
These are wonderful.. I would love to take my family to NYC but my husband is a bit leary of us managing our 4 kids in the city but now I have some ammunition. teehee ( we only live on the other side of the state )
anyway.. love the captures here.
Your right on with your comment… we’re a family of 8 (though one has flown the coop), and real life happens always here. Plenty of opportunity for a photographer like yourself to capture a golden moment.
fabulous images, as always!
I love the second picture of the two boys. That smile on his face is priceless!
Lovely! I’m absolutely lenthralled with your artistic ideas. I’m sure it’s draining after two photo shoots, esp having so many personalities to capture. I have six children. They are all mirror images of us and yet so different from each other. (Check out Clever[art] if you haven’t before. My dear friend, Mitch has captured our brood many times over).
Mitch and I are always admiring and talking about your work as well… I’m not a photographer, just a lover of brilliant photography… and a wannabe. LOL
Love the 1st shot so much- how one brother is looking at the other! SO much fun as always. TFS!
AMAZING!
Sooo CUTE!! Lovely family!! Kids just make you smile..
AWESOME
I’m a big fan of your photography as it always inspires me but the bottom one has my new all time favorite.
these picture are AWESOME! i bet the family loves them!!
the last two are my favorite…what lens and settings did you use for those shots?
wow. truly inspired.
The second shot makes me giggle.
Note for Emily
I have your package ready to post, do you want me to wait until you back safe and sound at home? Or will I post it to Tara’s home?
