so my hair.
growing it out.
trying to at least.
i eventually want it down between my shoulder blades and curly. big loose curls that alexis (who does my hair) has hope that my hair will give me naturally once its long enough to weigh its curliness down. that was the most screwed up sentence but im leaving it.
so anyway, today i said bangs. tomorrow i might regret it. anytime i sweat i will regret it. bangs have this lovely flattering way of going limp and curly when my sweat glands even have a remote passing second of a thought that they might want to produce something.
oh and yes-i did mistakenly write that sweet little ellery below was a baby boy. i was rushing and wasnt thinking. she is absolutely a girl-a girl with ruffles and a white eyelet sweater and a sweet little smile even in the cold.
The bangs look awesome. And your eyebrows? Perfect. I have eyebrow issues so I’m jealous of anyone with a great set of brows. ;)

Hey Gorgeous! Love your bangs–they frame your perfect eyebrows. Change is so fun. I can absolutely imagine you with long wavy hair. And I agree with your hairstylist–with a bit of weight your curls will elogate into beautiful waves. (Just needs the perfect layering.) Did you know I was a hairstylist? I worked for 10 years – specializing in long hair. Remember the late 80’s early 90’s spiral perm–I was the guru. lol. Makes my opinion just a bit more weighted now, eh? haha

I am growing… should I say “trying” to grow my hair out, too.
I am SO impatient with the whole process, unfortunately.
My hair has been short for so long… as soon as I get to a certain point I usually go hack it off again. This time I am doing pretty well …so far. ; )

At 18 I grew my bangs out!! I told myself that I would NEVER have bang again!! Now at 30..guess who got bangs about 3 months ago?? yup…me! I love them..I never thought I would.

Gorgeous. Isnt it tough. I have ALWAYS had long hair (I am convinced I would be scary if i cut it..LOL) I got the worst hair cut ever 9 months ago and have been growing it out since. I finally got a good hair cut last week. (I literally stalked my old hairdresser – boy it makes a difference huh!) and.. yesterday she put ‘peeka boo highlights in it’ cost me a fortune. I dont think i could afford to keep it up .. but it is sooo cool this week.
Big difference between what I call hairdresser hair (the hair you have after they do it) and the hair you have after you wash it..LOL
So i always ask for something I can deal with later.

I grew my bangs out a few months ago after having bangs for YEARS! Mine (my bangs) always did the same thing you mentioned in humidity (which we have a lot of around here), so I can’t say that I have regretted growing them out. Also, I never get my hair cut as often as I should so I ended up trimming my bangs myself and I never could seem to get them quite straight!

hate to repeat what everyone else has said but the bangs look great and your eyebrows are kickin’ i have some serious eyebrow issues and need an intervention. do you tend to those babies by yourself or do you get them done? inquiring minds (with bad eyebrows) need to know.

I really do like the bangs. Mine are similar. I like that if I feel like not having them one day, I can just wear a headband. There are tons of fun headbands around these days.
its makes me laugh that you gals over the water call them “bangs”. we call it a fringe. Like you say “tomayto” and we say “tomarto” – lets call the whole thing off.

I am an ‘eyebrow’ girl… I notice eyebrows when I am talking to someone… and YOU have the BEST eyebrows TARA! I am soooo envious! BTW, I had to have mine permanently done professionally (basically tattooed!)… cuz I hardly had any! Lucky YOU!
the bangs are REALLY flattering! I tried bangs earlier this year…I just couldn’t deal. I hear you on the eyebrow thing. I would have only one big eyebrow if not for waxers and tweezers. thank god for those!
