my neices turned a year older this month. kailey: 4, sammie: 2. we played over at mima’s house and enjoyed a bounce house in the backyard. and when i say enjoy, i mean that literally. jeff and i were the only grown-ups brave enough to go inside. somehow i managed to step on a bee while wearing flip flops. (not fun) but i also got to do mini shoots with both girls. (fun)
sammie was less cooperative, so less of her….little fartmonkey.
i just adore these girls so much. i never knew i could love other children like this. they are not my blood, but they are my family. we are connected.
and its just way cool to be crazy aunt tara.
They are adorable, Tara.
gorgeous photos tara, sounds like fun was had by all at the party
i know how that is trying to get a squirmy little one to sit still for pictures. it’s a crapshoot.

That might be my most favorite birthday cake shot ever. What a great catch! These girlies are so adorable. I love the way you got that hand shot. Such a nice twist with the finger tips cropped. I wish you were my kids auntie.

you sure have been using the word “fart” alot lately Mrs. Tara.
or am i just now noticing?

hehe…I get in the bounce house with Austin all the time. It is a party favorite around here. lol. :)
Adorable pictures. :) cute cute…
wonderful photos as always! and i understand about loving kids that are family, just not blood. it’s exactly how i feel about the myriad of neices & nephews crawling around the branches of the family tree!
You stepped on a bee?? OUCH!!
Hope your foot is okay. That must have really hurt!
Glad you had fun though :)
Thanks for the inspiration!!

Tara, these photos are amaaaaazing! You always stun me! I feel so lucky to have so many priceless pics that capture my kids just as they are at the time! They are really lucky to have you and Jeff for an Aunt and Uncle! I loved how you chased them down and sandwiched them in monster kisses and hugs before you left! Keep it up! They can’t wait to come to your house and neither can I! Love you soooo much! Summer
sorry you got a booboo. the pics are cute though. you really are crazy or as my friends son says and now i say “you’re frazy” glad you guys had a fun day.
hahah crazy aunt Tara, they must love you to bits. My aunts were really old aunts when I was young. Not old in age but old in the way they were. Wished I had a crazy aunt back then hahaha that would be lots of fun :)

Hi Tara!
Ah, these all make me SMILE!
Tangent: I saw your Anna’s first year album in Cathy Z’s presentation at Scrap, Etc. this weekend, and tears rolled down my face. You are extremely gifted. LOVED it!

what sweet little cuties!! it IS so great to be an auntie! I was gonna ask if these were Summer’s kids, but as I was scrolling down I noticed her comment and got my answer…:) Great photos Tara!
Hey SUMMER, it’s Grace and Robbie! your kiddies are beautiful!!! God Bless!!
I am totally diggin’ the thighs on that little munchkin! What a great “squat” shot! They’re all wonderful — how do you choose a favorite?
i dig the one with kailey holding up the 4 fingers – that is a cool bday shot with the focus on the hand and the kid a little blurry.
