didnt clean it up for you. thats how it always looks. usually, much messier.
its fun to have a glimpse into the home of someone you know-especially when you have never been to their house. i know i am guilty of looking behind the main focus of most pictures to try to get a view of what was behind it in the house. i love looking at the little things people put in their houses.

I love seeing the PEACE sign posted up beside all of the notes, papers, car keys, mail, etc!!! What a great reminder.
I can’t tell you how many post it notes are hanging from my cupboards, i mean, bulletin board. The inside of the cupboards are even worse than the outside. and the fridge, don’t even get me started. LOL

I need a command central spot in my kitchen…can’t find the perfect basket for it. I want a mudroom type spot so badly. I take pics of my house all the time, my favorite spots especially. Our playroom seems to be the most frequently photographed…and the kitchen!
4 kids and that’s all the papers? holy heck. We’re drowning over here (3 kids). kudos to you keeping it scaled down! :-)
i wish my mail space was that organized. it looks semiirganized once a week. LOL

Too funny, That is exactly how mine looks post it notes on the cabinet doors and if it isn’t a post it I shove under the molding. I broke down and put up a 3M hook to hold a calendar on my other cabinet door.
I love that storage area you have, wish I could find something similar. Mine ends up in a filing tray at the moment but then you can’t organise properly! Thanks for showing us your house Tara, it looks cool and like a home should!

You have a very good point, and I will have to put my little area on my blog too. I don;t think it has ever been featured before, but I agree, it is a very good insight into people’s lives and organisational skills. Perhaps I ought to tidy mine tonight!!
