  1. Isn’t it crazy how fast time goes?! Congrats on the quick potty progress – working on our twins, they aren’t as grossed out by yucky pants, bummer.
Good luck and cheers to documenting life.

  2. Anna’s such a cutie! She IS getting so BIG! We, too are potty training (just got back from the bathroom with him, as a matter of fact! ;). He will sign “toilet” to go. PS jump started it for him. He is still totally content in the crib. We got out the big boy bed, but he’s just not interested in it yet.
Have a great day, Tara! :)

  3. hey, now you can’t say I don’t comment. :)
I will say I was amazed at how much she was talking at “preschool” today. She was right in there with the big kids, fitting in great!

  4. She’s so stinkin’ cute!! What a smile . . .

I totally know where you’re coming from. Last weekend, my almost 5 year old DD put on a coat that she apparently haven’t worn for a season or 2 . . . and pulled a binkie out of the pocket. I literally started crying!! My baby!!! Where did she go?? It’s going to be hard watching my baby start kindergarten in the fall . . .

  5. I *need* to potty train my son…….he is definately showing interest but I’m waiting until I’m home for extended few days….ANY advice on training a boy? My girls were so easy and already trained by now! HELP!

She is so cute Tara….LOVE that picture!

  6. wow…that is a beautiful child. Those smiling eyes, the little crinkle in her nose, the mischevious grin with chicklet teeth. She is breathtaking…

  7. i can hardly believe it…the last time (and only time) that i saw anna, she was just a mere babe–she couldn’t possibly be doing all of those big girl things!
it’s just not fair how fast they grow up.

  8. Your Anna reminds me so much of my little Anna who just turned 2. She’s growing up too fast too…and she’s going to have to BEG me to potty train her after what I went through with her big brother. O well, they say girls are easier to train, so we’ll see!

  9. Congrats Anna & Mom! It is hard to comprehend how fast our children grow. Please tell me that the 3rd is easy too. I will never know what a fourth child will be like so I am always looking for info on the third. So far he is just an angel! Congrats once again Miss Big Girl Anna!

  10. What a beautiful photo of your little Anna! She has the sweetest smile :-)

That is so awesome about the potty training, it sure makes life easier, doesn’t it?

The journaling on your blog would make a great layout along with that photo… Another milestone down, wonder what’s next…?

  11. She’s sooo beautiful. Love her spunk in her eyes and smile. You can tell she’s a trooper too! It’s always exciting and sad when the last one grows up. I’m about to put my 10.5 yr old baby girl on an airplane for gymnastics camp in TX…talk about freaking out and rethinking everything! Ugh

  12. Amen for girls! Okay, so 4th child a boy, didn’t potty train so easily-but the girls realized early that they didn’t like that ucky stuff. Anna is darling Tara…a Big WOO HOO-ATTA GIRL for Anna for making Mom’s life a tad bit easier. No more diapers means caching- caching…SCRAPBOOK MONEY!

  13. she is sooooooo cute! gorgeous!!!!!
growing up waaaaaaaay too fast though!
i just did a photo shoot of a baby named anna and thought of your anna…..she is the only anna i know besides the photo shoot one……
    tara

  14. What a sweet girl! Congrats on the potty training! That is awesome! :)
By the way, I enjoyed your stuff in 2peas garden!
You made me stop and hunt down that “Luckiest” song by Ben Folds–thanks! I really enjoyed it!

  15. You are a terrific photographer! Your “baby” girl is a terrific model too—how many shots did you take to get this winner??? Don’t tell me just one please….

Your photographs of your children make me want my babies back to take some more pics! At 21 and 16 tho, I’m going to have to wait for the grandbabies instead—was perusing your layouts at 2 peas, and fell in love with the photo of your baby sitting on the scale—what an adorable image!

You have a great eye for marvelous photos—thanks so much for sharing and inspiring!

  16. She is soo cute! Of course I loved her since day one! We’re on day 3 of potty training! Can’t say it’s as easy for us but the incentive chart I’m using works wonders! I love your new layouts on two peas especially the one of the four kids and their names! I’ll be scraplifting that!

  17. She is gorgeous Tara, I have a 2 and a bit year old boy, and dont they just grow up all of a sudden? I was just laying in bed and he climbed up on bed and started singing “point your fingers and do the twist” complete with actions, It dosent seem that long ago he was using one word sentences. Congrats on the potty training >its time I started!!

  18. Go Anna go!! My fourth taught herself too and the fifth the kids taught him!! I love big families I really do!! Even days like today when the 19 had his first car accident. He is ok just shaken. Tara my salutes to you!! Hugs Wanda

  19. Isn’t it great to see your children grow up before your eyes, gaining a bit more independence by the day! But moments like this one are giant leaps!

Traci mentioned in her comment that the photograph and journaling are perfect for a layout. I must concur!!

  20. that’s how to wean them from the binky! (this same thing happened to me with my son Sean. enablers that we are we bought him a replacement. are you kidding me? he threw it back at us! a few days later he was over it for good)
