She is most often off in her own world, but every once in awhile we get a split second where she is fully present with us. Knowing how few and far between they are, I am so grateful when they come around.

I was telling them about a funny YouTube video I had seen that day. Lucky for us we live in a day and age where you can pull anything up on your iPhone immediately. Which is what I did, and then they laughed just as hard as I had.

fancy dinner
Sometimes going out to dinner isn’t enough. Sometimes you need to make it fancy fun by dressing up in your ‘finest’ clothes. Which is what we did on a night Jeff was working late. A fun way to make a normal night a little bit special. I told the kids we were going out and they needed to dress nicely. This was what they picked.
