my emily is back and we’re gonna get in trouble

hey now, hey now, my em is back!

why is it so fun to model for the camera? or pretend to model i guess you should say? its always a laughable attempt.
got to see her this weekend after four long weeks of seperation!

and i get to see her this friday night again, she is teaching at scrapbook oasis. such a cool project. cant wait to make it. remember those old board books that have two different sections like a dutch door? and you can flip pages and match things up to different pieces? her book is just like that!!! i LOVE it. if you are going to be around, check it out!

the dark park

this is pam garrison, mixed media artist extraordinaire, and her family at a park that she called the dark park. tons of old oak trees and lots of charm. perfect for them.

you might remember them from before. her family has grown and changed since i saw them last and i have gotten to know her better. pam is such a cool person. read her blog for ten seconds and youll catch on quick. she has so much talent and has introduced me to the flea market bug.

so keeping that in mind, we talked about how to make the shoot different and how to play with some of her flea market finds. it was SO rewarding to do this with her. she brought most of the stuff and we figured out what to do with it. what a blast we had. we didnt have enough time for everything-so next year there will be another tara/pam flea market photo collaboration to look forward to.

my quilt was happy to make another appearance.

had some fun with my own kids this week….and i think it is fair to say they had some fun too. the weather here is my favorite right now. cold in the mornings and evenings, nice and sunny and warm in the day. just crisp and gorgeous. it feels so good to be outside in it.
