this last weekend i went with emily and liz to pacific beach. liz brought her niece. there were three 4 year old little girls running around and they had a blast. and even more, we had a blast watching them.

we woke up and walked to the beach one morning, not thinking they would want to get wet….what were we thinking? they ended up stripped down to their knickers and running around like little butterflies.

i couldnt help but marvel at how free they are. not worried about what anyone thinks of their bodies, of their actions, of their sounds….i love that every child has this in them. and i love even more, watching it unfold in front of me.
