gasworks park

most of my seattle clients chose gasworks park as their location-so to put it mildly-i really got to know the place. wonderful views of the seattle skyline, gorgeous surroundings, and cool architecture. it made for the perfect place to meet up.

the other banner family

last night right before i fell asleep i realized i never shared THIS shoot-from THIS banner family! i wish i would have before i switched to a new one – sorry teresa! i just went out of order and then forgot who i’d posted and who i hadn’t!

we met up at cal poly pomona, which i loved. i had never been but its a great campus with a lot of fun things to use. if you have a college campus near you i’d suggest you try it-especially near the art department-we found the best stuff behind the art building! but the reason i was so happy to meet them here was that it meant something to them-dad had graduated from here and knew the campus like a tour guide-it was awesome!

im starting to feel alive again-and so far, no flu for me-anna and jeff are still down for the count. this is day 6 for jeff and day 4 for anna………

the banner family

thanks for all the compliments on the new banner-that was an idea i had while at the seattle center with one of my seattle families, the sewells. mom is shannon sewell, photographer and hottie boombalottie extraordinaire.

shannon’s photography style is so inspiring to me-she finds things-and turns them into a session. a hat, a stool, a location, a pair of boots…or a dress….

when shannon linked me to the dress she wanted to get for our session i emailed back YES YES YES. love that she wanted to do something funky, different from my typical family session. makes me want to do something like this again soon.

i also added a new sidebar item “in my bag”. i tend to get at least one or two emails a week asking what equipment i use, etc…i dont know why i didnt do it sooner!
