beautiful! and i’m just loving all the non-“perfect” exposure going on all over the place right now. it’s juicy and delicious and magic. this is the kind of thing i would want blown up gigantic on my wall. but then, i’m a compulsive over-exposer, myself. keep ’em coming!

We were just taking about this. We are keeping our shots darker and not always worrying about the skin so much rather the environment. I love the mood in this, perfect.

i have also been more intrigued with darkness lately. always on the hunt for good light, it’s a kind of refreshing to look more deeply into the dark side.
I have been getting those kind of shots lately too.. but mostly because my photoshoots are being scheduled at dinner time and this time of year the light fades fast.. sigh

Love the energy it gives the picture. It calms it and makes it reach even further in to the viewer. And it gives it a texture that can not bee seen, only felt. Beautiful.
Yes! I love it. This is what photography/art is all about. Break the rules so your work says what you want it to say. This picture has narrative & mood & it just says so many things. x
just lovely. i adore that artists can continually recreate themselves thru their art – their techniques evolve much the same way they evolve as people, a result of their expereince and changing point of view. your pics are a bit of an outward manifestation of whats going on inside and you are blessed to have this outlet. these seem introspective, thoughtful, wistful, etheral. love the mood and what it signifies for you – movement forward, something we all need more of.
