So I am a beginning photographer and I stumbled on your site thanks to Google Reader recommendations and I just want to tell you that your photos are amazing.
You capture portraits the way I hope to…people in their natural element. Everyone looks so incredible comfortable and normal.
If you were anywhere close to Cincinnati I would be begging to come along on shoots and learn.
Do you shoot with natural light or do you take lighting?

SOOOO friggin’ jealous. Still under snow and freezing here in WI!!!!! BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH.. I can almost feel the warmth when you talk about the honeysuckle blooming with the windows open and birds singing. I crave that warmth!!!!!!

It was 82 wonderful degrees as I drove my kiddos home from school today.
They have short days all week thanks to parent conferences.
I think we will be going to the beach!!!!!

Not much in the world makes me happier than being able to have my windows open! It always amazes me around here, we get a gorgeous day and all my windows are open wide. And what do I hear? The hum of everyone else’s air conditioners. I just don’t understand it. We are almost to open window weather here and I can’t wait! Though we’ve had a couple random nice days that I could open them already.

If I close my eyes… I can smell the flowers, and listen to the birds. But when I open them, I’m reminded that we are a good 6 weeks of slop away from that dreamy reality. We are still waist deep in snow and have our furnace cranked. Boy, what I wouldn’t give to crack a window!
