the whitney clan

more, from the eyes of kim.

i am soooooooo excited about what she did. its so interesting how you can see your family every day and not see them the way everyone else does. but when you have a photo shoot done suddenly you see your family exactly like they are.

:)

fyi: i will be away from my computer until monday. if you email me this weekend ill get back to you then! also, if you post a comment here i wont be able to put it up until monday-so if you want, post on kims blog instead!

  1. Awesome! I loved every single one of them. Kim did an amazing job. I love the facial expressions and the body language. These pics just say to me “this is family”.

  2. i already posted on her blog, but these are wonderful!!! It’s so great to see you in photos interacting with your family. There were some pretty great moments captured that day. You guys are a gorgeous family! Btw, jeff seems like such an amazing father and hubby. I always see the love.

  4. LOVE them! especially:
    -your hair (looks great)
-anna’s dress!! (katie has the same one)
    -nate’s attitude
-the ones where jeff is holding your face…so sweet.

  5. LOVE them! Tara – how fun to have someone do for you what you do for so many – allow a family to see themselves as that – a family. Love the crabby boy shots too. What a crack up!

  6. you know how they say that everyone in the world can be connected by only 6 people. i really think that is true.. because practically every blog i go to has YOU in it.. congrats.. you’re a SUPERstar..

    random props to you

  7. Hi Tara, I am a portrait photographer as well…I first heard of you through Barb Uil’s blog. I really enjoy your work and your blog, but I wanted to tell you that last night I listened to a podcast interview that you did. I don’t really have photographer friends to talk to, so it was great just being able to relate to everything that you were saying and realize all the common ground that we child photographers share. I appreaciate your “realness.” Thanks Tara!
