hey everyone-sorry if this becomes a pain. i switched my comments so that everyone has to register to do it. i am also moderating comments now, so you wont see yours pop up until i approve it.

ive been learning about IP addresses this week. and finding some interesting things in the archived comment section of my blog. and learning that people who post anon cant really stay anon for long. and that the internet is really a small place when you have friends all over.

so this is the best way i can think to get sincere comments and not ridiculous ones. and not let the anon posters get any more attention. (after this post of course)

i am just living my life, having fun doing what i do. i dont have time to deal with other people’s issues.

so play nice. :)

  1. Those great photography genes have apparently been passed on! What an absolutely beautiful picture ~ and what makes it even more meaningful is that little anna took the picture! I still can’t believe it!! AWESOME!

  2. Tara,
I am so impressed with you. I have been reading your blog for a while and I just love how you are finding yourself and being true to who you are. Very cool. Keep being who you are!!! Lora

  3. Nice one sista. I could not agree more. Occassionally in my oversenstive self critical angst… I wish I could edit a comment … I place it and look at it later and think ewiiwww…that did not come across AT ALL as I meant. The pitfalls of our technology. Can not always tell the tone, mood… or perhaps the sarcastic Aussie humour?

But I have also recently been exposed to some pretty vile {totally unnecessary} mean comments that some people feel compelled to post, or worse… email. Sad.

So I am *grinning* for you Ms Tara Whitney.

Lets say goodbye to all the anon, hateful people out there.

    GOODBYE…and goodluck.
    Bx

  4. Hi Tara :o)

I haven’t commented on your blog before, but I just wanted to say that I’m sorry that you’ve had some ‘yuk’ stuff happening on here, that’s very sad to see. It’s an awful feeling when you get nasty anon comments on your blog, I know!

This photo is just amazing! What emotion and life it captures!

    Love your work :o)

  5. I’m so sorry you had to resort to this, but am unfortunately not surprised. My dh basically had to make his site/blog by invite only because “mean people” were visiting. Mean people suck.

I’m s l o w l y finding pictures that I feel are worthy of a Tara “proof”. Thanks for offering the service!
