Hello! I’m Joyce Smith, English professor-turned-photographer-turned-photographer’s-new-best-friend. When I was working on my Ph.D. in English literature and teaching freshman composition, I never imagined that I’d eventually bring my love of grammar, syntax, and all that other stuff that makes your head hurt to my career as a photographer.   9. These look awesome! Used to think I was a pretty good writer. Either blog writing or aging ins making me rethink this. Was just telling the hubs I could use an English Comp class. I would rather have these. ;) I would love to win. It would bring peace to my writer’s blocked world!

  31. I have been a huge fan of Joyce Smith’s work for a while. Her newborn photos are amazing(as are her others). I would love to attend one of her workshops, but being able to use “Word Smith” would be great!
