I was upstairs. She was outside.
She called up and asked me to come see what she had for me.
I walked downstairs and saw a big bunch of daisies from our backyard in her butterfly net, and her great big smile spread to my face.
These are the first batch of daisies our backyard produced, and she picked them from the roots, hoping to be able to save them and plant them in house.
Instead we decided to put them in a pitcher to enjoy while we could.
Love this girl.
Love these flowers on my coffee table.

love this tara. beautiful. her eyes are so bright :)
I can see how you love this girl. She has the same sparkle in her eyes as my 9-yr-old, and the same thought process! Talk about living in the moment. The flowers couldn’t look better.
I just love what you have captured here. The love is so real in these pictures. Thank you so much for sharing this magic moment. :)

Awww, what a sweetheart! What a blessing that she has you for a mama too! You do such a fabulous job at capturing all these beautiful memories to share with her when she is grown.
Your love for her just saturates these photos. So beautiful, Tara, how you captured that.

kids rock:)
I was touched by this especially as the mother of 4 children myself. They have an amazing way of looking at the world and I love the rare times when we can view it the way they do.
I don’t know you, but I clicked on your name on facebook through my friend, tim’s, page. you just photographed my great friends, jade & tim & their baby daughter, while they were in san diego for my wedding. I love photography and I love kids and this blog post just brought a big smile to my face. I am in recovery mode from the magical joy of my wedding and smiles are good for me right now. I can’t wait to see the pics you took of jade and tim’s family. love your philosophy. perfectly imperfect!
She reminds me so much of my girl … we have the same net, but for some reason the butterflies aren’t swarming it yet, LOL. Such a sweetheart, love this post. :)
She is like your mini… Happy early mother’s day!
