These baby toes make me want to have a snack.
We took a short drive to the Oceanside harbor but didn’t quite make it there with enough time to walk around. (The sunset happened earlier than we thought it would.) This is one of the last shots of the night!
This is my second session with this group. You can see their first here. It is always amazing to see how the kids have grown with repeats. And I was positively thrilled at how healthy and robust Rylie was this time!
Mike and Katrina are active, fun parents. They all spend a lot of time outside together, so that is exactly what we did for the shoot. This is a typical, normal afternoon for so many families (mine included), and I loved capturing such an authentic moment for them.
PS: Katrina posted the most lovely note on her blog about our sessions.

I think I love you…lol. When might you be heading to Australia for some workshop goodness????? pleeeeeeeeease consider 2010!!!!
Well thank you Valeska! But perhaps we should meet before expressing our undying love. Haha. :)
No workshops for me though. I am not a teacher. I prefer to stay behind a camera or computer instead. :)
Thanks T… on behalf of entire Team V. We had so much fun and are so happy to have moments like these captured with such fantastic talent. You rock!
Wow, what a trooper that little one is! She, and the family, are darling.
You wouldn’t have to teach! Just do your thing and we could watch and admire…and maybe ask a question or two…’tis all we need!!!
