Pour the margaritas.
Marinate the steaks.
(And the Zooks.)
Bake the potatoes.
Order the kids to ride five laps around the neighborhood in an effort to remove the bad from their “baditudes”.
Take in their red cheeks and sparkling eyes when they return. Give them hugs.
Listen to the guys.
Sit in chairs.
With your feet up.
Be present in the moment.
Smell your dinner cooking.
Salivate.
Smile.
Get the fixin’s prepared.
Set the table.
Say thank you for the help in the kitchen.
Plate the meals.
Burn your fingers on the potatoes.
Bring the food to the table.
Laugh.
Eat.
Feel entirely content and satisfied with your life.
Take note and make sure to stop and let all of the good in life sink in.
IT DOESN’T FIT, YOU MUST ACQUIT!
Sunday was just one of those days.
