caught some great shots of kenna at the beach. she is soooooooooooo (can i add some more O’s?) hard to photograph naturally. i was happy when i saw these.
she LOVES music. and is always on the hunt for new stuff to add to her ipod. which is now “jack’ up” as she puts it, and taking a rest possibly indefinitely on my bookshelf.
maybe due to these sandy fingers?
Tara,
Your darling girl is just so beautiful :)
Her eyes just seem to light up when she’s listening to music :)
Not sure what muzak she’s into, but I adore the grooving beats of the Andi & George Band ~ http://www.myspace.com/andiandgeorge
Biiiig hugs,
Leonie
Oh my she is cute! :) Being an itunes junkie is something to be proud of! :)
“jack’ up”. That might be the best thing I’ve heard all day long. She is so great.
too sweet! excellent captures!
Holy cow! The photo from the collage, the top right one, the light in it, your gorgeous daughter…perfect.
These are truly FAB FAB FAB!!
Absolutely gorgeous, Tara! She’s a beautiful girl with a beautiful soul.
hi. love these. love the first one–M is ‘on duty’. I think they beauty lies in the fact that you can see your love oozing in them ;)
Tara, they’re beautiful!
These are great shots! :)
You captured her so perfectly natural. WOW!
these are sooo beautiful, Tara. I have been watching your kids grow so much over the last couple of years and you can just see how she is maturing into a young lady. I love how this captures her spirit and she looks so pretty. Awesome!
so agree-these are some of the best shots i’ve ever seen of her, love that feeling when i get those kinds of shots too – so fun tara…
Gorgeous!!
Aw, I love these. She is beautiful, your girl is! She is growing into a young lady. Really nice captures, Tara!
Oh so gorgeous photos.
Its so hard for me to get pics of my girl too. She has a muscle condition which means she jerks and a photophobia issue which means she can only open her eyes fully in shaded rooms ans in twilight (yeah – love that ISO issue we have). Flash photog is a no-no. For every 100pictures I taker, i can only get one and more often than not its not ultra sharp, even with a 50mm full open.
But, by god, when I do get a photo; its a golden one.
Mckenna is growing up so fast, I love sharing her journey through your blog.
oh no, does she need a new ipod?
she is so darn cute and such a happy girl.
love these, they really show her personality!
my daughter savannah is VERY hard to capture
with a camera. i will look at her and think, gosh she is
gorgeous and then i snap the photos load them to my puter
and think, hmmm that isn’t how i saw her at all.
it’s weird, cause my other daughter is completely 100% photogenic and i can capture her always the way i see her.
LOVE these tara!!!
tara pp.
p.s. can’t wait to see more of YOUR GORGEOUS KIDS!
Ah, yes. Sand and little electronics tend not to be a good match for each other. :) Great photos. She’s beautiful.
oh tara..these are SOOO good. you truely captured her delight with life at that moment. i love the tangled cord…such a ‘kid’thing!! hope the ipod doc can fix it ;)
cute shots.
Love the “M” shot and the sandy fingers! She looks adorably happy and free!
The last picture is so very lovely!
It makes me feel all warm and dreamy!
hmmm I love that top shot of her and the M. Perfect. :-)
She is so beautiful.
I <3 McKenna :)
ahhh, beautiful Mckenna….My faves are the first on the stand with the M, such joy in her face, then the one right below on the left with the ipod…contentment in her eyes….
these are so beautiful and perfect! i love the second group especially. :)
Hey Tara, I’ve followed your blog for a long time, but I don’t know If I’ve ever commented. I loved these pictures of your daughter! You did a great job of capturing her natural spirit. She is so beautiful in these. That ‘M’ was a lucky find! My favorite is the second one. Your posts, as usual, are always inspiring. Keep up the great work!
