this may have been their first family photo session, but it wasn’t their first session with me. you may remember nate and lindsay from before baby liam.
look at them now:
i think liam is perhaps the most beautiful baby i have ever, ever seen. his blue eyes just popped off of daddy’s shirt.
he loved this game:
THIS PICTURE MAKES ME LAUGH SO HARD. i can so relate. i totally want to eat my kid sometimes too. usually an ear will do. or a cheek.
we found some shade and plopped underneath it for a diaper change and a little rest from the sun.
he is a total baby gap baby isnt he???
unfortunately for us, lindsay has moved back to her hometown of chicago to be closer to her family. it was very bittersweet to see her and spend time with them this summer. we miss her! she is such a good momma, and cracked me up over and over with the way she talked to him. she is an AMAZING teacher, so you can imagine. he hears things like, “liam! this is not an appropriate time to cry! i am in the car and can’t do anything to help you!” etc etc. such a cutie. he is going to be such a good little boy.
love you three!
xo
Tara… You will be taking our family portraits one day. No doubt about it. It’s going to happen. And you will love us. I’m just saying…
Hey Tara! Just took my boy to Old Town yesterday to scout out some spots for client sessions. Thanks for the great ideas! Love the one of baby against dads blue shirt.
dang!!!!! sharon beat me to it. tara….don’t be confused….sharon is only so confident in her statement because I TOLD HER THIS last week. i’m just sayin…
oh….great job. seriously.
I swear to God before I got the “the picture” I was thinking in my head, “That baby is scrumptious.” Guess his dad thought so too!!! :)
O…M…G
I died from the cuteness of Liam.
DIED… I am dead.
I love him.
beauty and laughter are written all over this post.
sooooooooooo cute! :)
these are amazing Tara!!!
so sweeeet!! I am in love with the dad eating the head shot!
These are wonderful Tara.. just wonderful
he is so precious. you can almost see a little man inside that baby face….as if he will look exactly like that when he grows up? especially in the bottom left last one.
great pics tara.
i love how you capture everyday-ness so beautifully.
i copy you whenever i can. :)
glad to hear you feeling better.
it’s so hard for mamas to be sick…it’s hard on everybody.
have a great day!
love these! baby liam=nom nom nom
glad you captured this family’s personality
and, ok, that hair! i have never seen such awesome hair on a baby before!
Oh my. Tara, if you’re not careful, you’ll be partly responsible for a baby boom in 9 months. These shots make me more than a little baby hungry. Not good, since our youngest is 10 and we’re pretty much done in that department :)
p.s. I love his little hair combing in the front.
Oh, how I wish you lived next door so you could take pictures of my babies everyday! You are amazing!
Oh Tara, you a really are such a SUPER!! I just LOVE these photos, as I am sure the family do too. You don’t fancy coming to Paris by any chance do you? Come on….
I just had to laugh at that last part…the “this is not an appropriate time to cry” part…I say things like that all the time and am just now realizing (because of your comments) that it is because of my teaching background that I say those things!! It made me laugh out loud!!
Too funny!
the eating one cracks me up too, love the colours by the way!
Awwww, what an absolutely beautiful family! The love, fun and spirit in these is just amazing Tara! *sigh*
These are fantastic…
Tara,
These pictures are so adorable and the whole family looks like they are having fun and good time. We are blessed to have Lindsay and family back to Chicago area and believe me the Grandmas and family couldn’t be happier. She is a natural when it comes to being Mommy. Nate and Lindsay make cute babies and I hope there will be more to come !!! She is blessed to have friends like you.
that is the sweetest baby I’ve ever seen. Makes me want one just like him! So cute.
Hi Tara,
Thanks for posting such amazing photos. You are a huge inspiration to me! I’ve been lurking for a long time, but I just had to comment on the photo of the family with the dad trying to “eat” his baby. Isn’t it so true? I just love my kid so much that I often have to restrain myself from eating her. Just a nibble will do!
You are the best a capturing amazing, truthful moments. And these shots are no exception. Thanks again for all your postive energy and beautiful inspiration. xo c
