my sweet yindi willow turned one in june. emily had her party at a park near her home. the afternoon was really wonderful. we all sat under the trees and snacked on yummy food. and i took lots of pictures.
i got lots of shots of momma and dollbaby.
my favorite of the bunch:
mckenna had a bit of a hissy, and emily talked her off the ledge.
drew hamming it up as usual.
time for cake and presents!
her first present.
right before the sun went down and we all packed up and headed home. (she loves to hold onto a bar like this and poke her head around all the sides. this time she was going up and down, up and down.)
and her feet, goodness gracious her precious chubby dirty feet.
happy monday-i have a really crazy week-wish me luck!
yindi looks like her daddy in the photos w/ the sweater!! she is so cUTE!
how lucky is em that you documented yindi’s special day! makes me feel so guilty, because
my friends baby turned one on friday and it’s an hour away so i didn’t make it there. now extreme GUILT is eating at me!!!!!

The shots are beautiful….I would love to know where the table cloth is from…I think my sister would be over the moon for it as a present :)
Here’s to a great week, Tara!
Just be you :o)
Awwwwww….so fun to “be there” through your photos. I am loving the set around the bar, Yindi is hilarious! They are so blessed to have someone to document her day so beautifully. Nice job…as always :)
AWWW! I don’t blame you Belle. Love the chubby feet pics. Love all the pics, but those are my faves. Yummy Yindi!
I could just eat those piggies and those little chubby hands too. She’s superdelicious.
awwwww. these make me melt. little pink leggings poking out of her dress with those delicious feet of hers!
tablecloth is a bedsheet/spread thing i bought from urban outfitters a few years ago :)
ohhh my gosh. I am dying from that set of her playing!! lol her faces are so stinking cute!
I love Yindi’s dress in these photos. You must ask her mothere where she got it. Great pictures! She is a beautiful baby.
I so, so adore the friendship that exists between you all – now that is special.
i know the tablecloth is actually a “coverlet” from Urban Outfitters, but it was purchased a long duck dong time ago.
the cardi im wearing was from target! and libbi-her dress was from a resale shop in encintas, ca.
I love it, so sweet!
I wish I could eat her!
OH MY, I just love those little feet. *sigh* Has it really been a year? What a perfect day for the party. How anal is this that we have those candles for Morgan’s 13th b-day (4 years from now), b/c there are 13 candles. Yes, go ahead and laugh…LOL Oh, I just love the nursing photo too!!!!
That nursing pic is so precious, and it literally brought a tear to my eye. My little one is 15 months and slowly weaning and I will so miss that closeness as he is my last baby. Yindi is beautiful and adorably bite-able.
that picture of emily nursing made me cry and started making me feel the baby fever. i haven’t visited in a while but i just wanted to quickly post to say how much i love your work.
