tomorrow we are on our way to hawaii.
we are going to be staying with our wonderful friends the ramanlals, you can see their cute fam here. we met last year when they hired me for a session and we became friends immediately. i cant wait to introduce them to the other parts of us-our kids!
after months of agonizing over whether or not we thought mckenna could handle a trip like this, we decided the best thing for her would be to stay home and get spoiled by her uncle shane and aunt rachel. i am so torn in two about this decision-my heart literally hurts thinking of leaving her behind. i cant imagine going somewhere without our little nut-brown hair, doing something as a family, but not with our entire FAMILY. but this is just not the type of vacation for her. she is not a big fan of the beach or “winging it” without a schedule, and we will be doing a lot of both.
anyone who may try to get ahold of me, i probably wont be checking email again until january 9th when we get home.
