these two were a joy to meet. julie and tess have a wonderful story and so much love between them. tears were burning my eyes almost the entire time we were together.
knowing how much she was wanted. and how much she deserved.
their life seems magical-together just as two-a charming, inspiring home, tickles, frank sinatra, and lots of blueberries.
wow
Truly beautiful work Tara. As always.
AMAZING & simply beautiful photos as always. Thanks for sharing!!!!
just lovely.
when i was in high school my parents adopted my sister from china. they have a whole network of friends with adopted children, most from china. your images remind me of my adorable sister many years ago.
there’s a lovely quote for adoptive parents that goes something like, “You didn’t grow under my heart but in it.”
It is all about the toes for me. Loooooooove the last one. *sighing*.. perfection..

oh, those are touching. I’m really in love with the ‘be true’…just hits me.
Julie and I met on Two Peas what seems like eons ago and when she saw I had two from China, she asked me questions and I sent her in the direction of my adoption agency. I think it’s been 4 or 5 years since then and now she and her baby girl are on your blog with some of the most gorgeous photos I’ve seen from you. There really is a lot of love there and you captured it beautifully!
oh the dancing one brought tears to my eyes…i love dancing with my little sweetie…& the chalk borad ‘be true’ & her little dress…so sweet…beautiful shoot

i love the be true picture! the shape of her mouth in that picture is so to die for.
Wow, beautiful!!

You captured my girl’s personality in true form. She really does smile, every once in a while, it just takes some warming up! ; ) Thanks again.
Love the one of the lil one on the bed=) which lens did you use on that shot?
I love the photos! I love the way she uses different angles to take pictures from. The one picture where you are holding Tess upside down is adorable!
