the adorable little one in my banner belongs to an equally adorable family from minnesota. they were my first session at como park. it was a gorgeous day…
this weekend we are enjoying air conditioning and a quiet house. this is the last day before the kids come home from my moms house. they have been there all week! its amazing how clean and quiet this place is without the goon squad.
i’m loving the baby pictures…laying in nature.
oh these are so cute!…love the first one…fun sisters:)
What an expressive adorable baby!
All the photos are lovely!
LOL! goon squad hit me as seriously funny! love the pics (as always) and enjoy the remaining quiet time…

Too sweet!
Have fun with the wee ones away!
fabu as always…love that lil’ banner..so cute :)
I love the one with the baby laying down! It’s as great as the one with Yindi! I’m getting into photography myself, so I enjoy looking at good work to give myself something to aspire to. (;
Lovely photos, and I can so relate to the “goon squad” ours have just had 2 weeks school holiday at home and what a mess! also can relate to the eyebrows (my uncle was nicknamed “crested penguin”- they’re hereditary), and the weight gain (8kg in 18 mos) I must get back to exercise too! keep writing your best brand of sanity…
Tara, you’re photography is just blowing me away. I love these shots. I only wish you were a little closer to Perth, Western Australia!!!
Thanks for the inspiration!

Beautiful shots.. and isnt it so like strangely odd when your kids are all away and the house has this wierd silence everything neat and clean and you all of a sudden find you are noticing the quiet..and how much you miss all the noise and chaos?
Love the one of the little girlie lying on the grass :) Beautiful as ever

I love Como Park!
Tara,
Do you print your own pictures?
If so, could you please share what you are using.
I am having a terrible time using our local printers.
Thank you,
Donna in Wisconsin
very beautiful!
wow, can my kids come to your Mom’s?
hey – it’s me again. ahha. I have a song that I think you’d like:
it’s called “Snails” by ‘The Format’
it’s a good song :)

hmm… i’m very jealous of your talent. and hope that you would consider doing lessons with me. i want to be an amazing photographer like you.
Love LOVE all your photos! I can only hope to have your talent! Some day….
What treasures! I did my first family session this past weekend and they just wanted the traditional family shots. Such a dissapointment now when I see yours!
Como Park! I grew up in Minneapolis, and Como Park was about the only thing we thought worth going to St. Paul for! (Yes, the Twin Cities have a lot of sibling rivalry.) Do they still have a zoo there too? One of my favorite moments ever was visiting the zoo in the winter — a groundskeeper was snowblowing a path near the tigers, and one of the tigers was playing with the cascading snow. I don’t usually take a lot of pictures, but I wish I had one of that huge cat batting at snowflakes.
Fantastic photos Tara…I have been waiting and waiting for anything from your Minnesota shoot. And here all this time, the banner baby was from MN and I didn’t know it! Enjoy the peace!
the pictures are beautiful! i live in minnesota. i think your next trip should be up along the shore of lake superior. then you could come take shots of my family. :)
