What great shots! The one of McKenna with your parents (I presume) is so tender and sweet. Just lovely.

It looks like that was a day of pure bliss. (Or, at the very least, an awesome family day out.) I love the freckles on your son’s nose the best. . .
Love all of your shots-what an awesome account of Father’s Day and family love. How I wish I could leave the camera around my neck and accidentally take a perfect photo like the one of Anna. (Oh no, she di-unt!)
;)
Have a great day!
Susan

Oh that second capture!! be still my heart! You and your sister both have such sweet faces!
Hi Tara,
I’ve found your blog through Emily’s Blog through her weekly card challenge! I often check in to see your beautiful pieces of art – thanks for the inspiration. I’m an extreme novice and I desperately want to develop my photographic skills (or lack of!) but can’t afford any time for formal ed. Are you self taught? If so, can you recommend anybooks/mags etc – Hot tips?? I love your style and would so love to capture life the way you do.
Thanks Tara,
Donna Jensen

Amazing – as usual.
What you capture is beyond words!
I love these pictures, Tara!
I can see why the one of your parents and your daughter melts your heart, what a special moment and I love the sun flair.
Your little boy has the prettiest eyes.
Hi Tara! I was wondering: how do you protect your camera from sand and water on the beach? Best wishes as always, Patricia (from Brazil)
i’m loving all of the freckles in this post. :) looks like you guys had great time. i’m not really a beach girl but i do love the bbq’s at the beach, so those pics kinda made me miss california and so far only disneyland and you girls have done that. :)
i adore these photos! esp the one of mckenna playing air guitar! how cute is that??? one time my son told me he wanted to play air guitar when he grew up. i was like ‘let’s start right now!’ lol
It’s just not fair… your accidental shots are better than my planned ones. These are all excellent, I’m constantly impressed with the images of life you capture.
looks like it was a perfect father’s day. love the one of mckenna, and the last accidental one is great too… those are always treasured surprises! :D

All beautiful shots, as always.
Also loved the beautiful little ones in your last session in UT. Great job!
The shot accidentally taken by the camera around your neck strikes such a chord, I think perhaps because it’s a shot not from the place where you are a Photographer. It’s a shot when you were most likely just functioning as Mom. It captured a moment of beauty for your daughter interacting with you as her mom and not with the lens. my take on it, anyway.
I love looking at your photos. You truly capture the “souls” of people.
