because i certainly didnt look this hot when i was a senior in high school! this is one of my younger sisters, who is graduating this month. i have lots to show-im so proud of the person she is. she cares so much about world issues and actually does something about it. she has gone into chile and mexico to build houses with her church group. she also organized a charity concert to raise money for Invisible Children.
last week we met up in huntington beach and shot her senior portraits.
i really do believe she will change things…

Wow! I wish I could have had senior pictures as cool as that. Seriously. I got the standard 3 different background and 5 poses. Not very exciting when you are a senior. That’s for sure. Maybe there should be something like second-chance senior pictures. :) Or maybe I should just accept my bad pictuers and get on with life. :)

I think that there is a difference in young adults of today versus even our generation – I think that they look and act more mature. It’s not a bad thing, really just, different.
I’m so glad to read that she wants to change the world. That takes courage and character – something I wish there was more of some times. I hope we here more good things about her in her future endeavors! :)

as for you….you really rocked this session. i adore the vision you brought to these….very edgy and “now”. So quite different from the senior portraits i had taken 10 years ago! lol.
These are just so gorgeous. Wonderful, unique shots…as usual. But…there is something else about these that is just so awesome. After reading what you said about your sister…she seems so beautiful inside and out. We need more individuals like her to ‘change’ this world we live in. I have been watching and paying attention more to so much that has and continues to happen in this world lately. It is so awesome to see such a young person have such a grip on reality and have the passion and insight to actually help…congrats to her…you should be proud!

Love the shot of her jumping in the air….she certainly has grown up to be a beautiful young lady! Last time I saw her was almost 6 years ago! time is flying too fast!
