you may recognize this family from december of last year.
it was so fun to go back and see the changes in cooper-and they are such a blast. mom always has some great ideas in her head for me to play with. its really a fun collaboration.
while we were talking, waiting for cooper to wake up, my website came up and dad said “oh my gosh-you are going to LOVE this umbrella i have!” it came from a movie he had worked on. well, he brought it out and of course, my heart started palpitating. GREAT IDEA peter!
this was momma’s idea-i love the pacifier and his hands in her hair.
then some cool spots we found…
shoots over-time for a snacky snack!
thanks for the many sweet comments about jeff and i. its fun for me to tell that story-it takes me back.
Okay…
I am so in love with that shot of them in the bathroom! That is total genius.
Another great set of photos Tara. You are an inspiration.
I love the table of the little boy on the table eating the peas..reminds me so much of mine! These are fabulous! Such an inspiration!
i love the photos.
i love love that bathroom.
but most of all… i’m in LOVE with her sweater! ;)
Oh my gosh, these pictures are so fabulous!!! Every time I look at your work I am just more and more amazed. Awesome!
wow, amazing! I love the warm tones to these pictures. I love the natural smiles of the mom and dad together!
Great work as usual Tara! I love looking at your photos! Makes me want to take more photos of my own!
I know exactly what you mean about jeff and you. My boyfriend and i were the same kind of flirty friends in our senior year and somehow ended up together. He was in the cool crowd. I wasn’t. But his locker was above mine. Although we are still young (24) with no kids and not married, we are perfectly happy with us. People are amazed that we have been together for as long as we have (7 years this august) as we seem to be the rare exception to the rule of people our age (single players with lots of partners). Cheers!
love these photos – the black and white checkerboard is so graphic – excellent! As I read your post it dawned on me – the relevance of a photo I took in downtown Chicago last summer – with the words “be inspired”
L O V E these, Tara!!!! I hope you are feeling better these days!!! :)
Glad I found your blog, b/c your photos are amazing! I love the perspective you have on things . . . can’t wait to see more!
Love. Them. ALL.

I really like the colors in this and the one of mom and DS is sweet. Thanks for being so open and honest about you and your honey. It’s a testiment to how true love can conquer all!
These are some of my favorites shots of yours. A totally cool session! I’m always scoping out cool fences, garage doors, cracked paint walls, and so on that would be perfect for pictures like these!
Gorgeous photos!!!
