I wanted to thank you for the story of the child who lost his precious life b/c his foot tangled in his Umbi cord. I just had a new baby boy 6 weeks ago, and when he was born we discovered that his umbilical cord had wrapped itself into a knot. My doc was really surprised and said that this prolly happened around week 11, when he was still small enough to spin around. THANK the Lord that this didn’t become serious!
The story you shared makes me realize just how serious it could have been, and now Lucas is even more precious to me.

OK…how far is MN from Philadelphia? I love love love your work…your photos make me want to have a portrait done (and I never like to have my pic taken!) how do you get those babies’/kids’ eyes to look SO AMAZING? and the COLORS! oh man!! i would in the blink of an eye but we’re gone most of june and life is way too stressful for happy family shots right now.
but we’ll be in la/san diego next march. you will be getting a call.
